The Affordable Art Fair in early April was our first foray into the world of contemporary art fairs and our first chance to see how our artists’ work might be received by that larger world of potential collectors. By all measures of success, this was a very successful first outing. Each of the six artists we presented sold at least one work. Julia Rivera, our ceramicist, sold five pieces and received a commission to do a piece based on the buyer’s own collecting interests.
